So was I, Ian. So was I. However, life is all about compromise. I've wracked my brain and searched my soul for reasons why this site's popularity has plumetted. Obviously, the sporadic posting plays a huge part, but I have a hunch my antagonism towards my readers has to factor in somewhere. (I suppose some people will say the quality has declined, but I urge such people to look through the archives and see for themselves that the quality of my writing has always been spotty.)

Meaningless Update

Just a quick note to let you know that I a) am just shaking off a week-long summer cold, and b) have decided to take a new approach when it comes to your comments. Basically, I'm just going to respond to ones that I can answer in an entertaining way. This means I will be less of a jerk, and at the same time, less mechanically polite. All right, the cold sweats are coming back. Bye.
